As a Peoria newborn photographer, it is always great to be able to photograph friends. Natalie just so happens to be one of them. It was such a special day to be able to photograph a sweet newborn baby boy with not only his siblings and parents but grandparents as well. Seeing these three generations all together was so beautiful, and their pride was just beaming. It was my first time adding grandparents into a newborn session, and I’m so happy with the results. Not only are grandma and grandpa great babysitters for the siblings, but seeing everyone together was such a treat. It was clear that these siblings were so in love with their new baby brother. Everyone wanted to hold, love and kiss him as much as possible. I’m sure this little guy is going to grow up with plenty of playmates.
Natalie chose to wear a stunning off the shoulder pink dress for her session, and it really provided an elevated, yet casual feel for her photos. I always suggest that moms wear dresses, but sometimes a dress can be tricky after you’ve just given birth. Natalie chose a dress that had a ruffle around the shoulder for a beautiful detail while keeping the focus on her and baby. Here’s the link to something similar. Click here for a link. She chose mixed neutrals for the rest of the family, and it blended so well with the subtle decor of the studio. As a busy Peoria newborn photographer, I really try to keep the focus on family and not the sets. Each unique family should pop out of the image and not distract from the beautiful focus.
