It’s no secret that the weather in Peoria Illinois can be a little unpredictable. This sweet family wanted pictures taken around this little guy’s first birthday, which is in January. Most photographers in central Illinois have a lighter schedule due to the weather, but winter sessions definitely have their benefits. Your photographer will most likely be more flexible, so you can choose a date that works perfectly. For instance, we were able to wait for a day in the 30’s while still having some snow. It worked out perfectly!
This is the third time I’ve been able to photograph this sweet family. I first met them in the LaSalle-Peru area for an extended family session. We did a studio cake smash session for his first birthday, and we found a perfect spot right between Dunlap and Bloomington for our session in East Peoria. I’m so glad that I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable family once again. Mr. Roman, you always steal the show! I can’t wait to watch you grow.
