Baby George was one of the first newborns I had the pleasure of photographing in my new studio! I really love the blend of lifestyle and more posed newborn styles we can achieve in one session. We started out with some really sweet family photos of George and his proud big sister. In between shots, George even gave me some of those precious, elusive newborn smiles. I was able to catch a few, and let me tell you, they melted my heart. While I really enjoy in home newborn sessions, studio sessions are easy for a different reason. You don’t have to worry about the state of your house, pets or any other distractions. Coming to the studio gives you a chance to get the beautiful images in a styled setting, and then mom and dad can kick their feet up for the rest of the session and watch their new bundle of joy finish up the session. I like to end the session with solo portraits, and they end up being some of my favorites. My studio is filled with a ton of wraps, bows, props, bonnets and flooring options. Best of all, it’s located in the heart of Peoria right off of I-74, so it’s incredibly easy to access from all areas of central Illinois.
